2008-2009 Club Goals
The following are the 2008-2009 Goals for the Des Moines Rotary Club. These goals are not in any order of priority, but are a reflection of our Club's diverse and comprehensive contribution to the community and world in which we live.
Goal 1: Add members to our Club
Goal 2: Develop at least (2) "hands on" community service projects
Goal 3: Participate in (2) International projects
Goal 4: Contribute $100 per member, and $5500 total to the Rotary Foundation
Goal 5: Hold a minimum of (1) Club family event
Goal 6: Increase by 10%, the amount generated from fund raising events and contributed to Club projects and charities
Goal 7: Idenitfy a new, large scale community project and create an action plan
Goal 8: Create a positive image and lasting impression of the Club within the Community
Goal 9: Improve internal Club communication and participation in Club project, initiatives, and events
Goal 10: Participate in (3-5) educational projects within local schools
Goal 11: Create a Club Leadership Succession Plan
